Some people might think that there are less activities to do during the holidays. But actualy there are just the same amount if not less. I have made a list of some of my favorite activities that I love to do in this season. Please feel free to list some of your favorite activities below! Here we go!

Skiing or Snowboarding

Skiing or Snowboarding is always a fun activity to do during the holidays! I remember the first time that I went sking and it was so much fun!! Al you have to do is remember to bring enough warm clothes so that you don't freeze!!

Singing

I always love to sing Christmas songs during the holiday. I am in a singing group at my school and we are going caroling. I am very excited because we are going to sing holiday songs and then we are going to celebrate the great times!

Iceskating

Iceskating is the perfect thing to do if you are a balanced person who loves to move in all different directions. Sometimes people who do dance or ballet are very good at ice skating because of all the twirls and moves! Make sure to try ice skating if you want a real chalenge!

Christmas Outfits

Christmas Outfits

There are tons of outfits that would go with the Christmas Season Theme but I just want a couple of those really cute holiday dresses, skirts, or outfits. I just got two dresses that are very fancy and I am planning on wearing them for the holiday season. I know that nothing is perfect, but I am gonna give you a couple of tips that might help so here we go!

Trying a nice red dress is perfect for this season. The color is just right; not too dark but not too light. This is just a simple red. The roses add a nice touch because they are placed in just the right spot and the waist band is in just the right place that we want it. I is just above the waist line and right below the but-line. This is a perfect example of "that dress".

This outfit is nice because you could pair it with tons of different thing. You could pair it with a pair of boots and some necklaces or a pair of high-heels and a charm bracelet. I think that these jeans you could also wear with a tight, cropped black shirt with sparkles. the sweater could be paired with black skinny jeans and bulky rings. There are just so many ways to match these pieces of clothing together! Perfect for a Christmas dinner. Thanks for reading! Happy Holidays! XO Lilly!

Holiday Nails

Hey bloggers!!

I had this great idea that I wanted to come up with a few ways to do some winter nails! I came up with a few ideas and I am gonna list them with the decription of what they are and how to do them.

Winter Wonderland

These nail are quite simple. They accually really look like a winter wonderland and they would be vey cute because they would match the holiday cheer. Here is how you do it: First paint your nails white, then take a dark blue and do polka dots, and if you have it, takr a blue nail pens or dark blue rimstones and apply them evenly on your nails. After you put a clear coat on to seal them and keep them from cracking or chipping, you will be done with this look.

Blue Blizzard

Use a dark, dark blue and apply it on all of your nails except for your ring finger. This gives your nails a cute but stylish look without being too tacky. I have done these types of nails many times and they have never dissappionted. After that, lightly apply white nail polish on your nails in a stripe formation. This will give your nails a see through look because the darkness of the blue will shine through the lightness of the white! Very cute!!!

Striped Strong

These nails are cute in a totally different way! Here is how you make them work: First put white on your nails, let them dry and then put any color of blue on the bottom half of the nails. This will give it a striped look but we are not done yet! After that, put gold in the middle of the nail as if it were a belt connecting the colors together. Lastly, apply sparkles of any kind on the nails and then clear to prevent damage. These nails are the most conplex and will probably be difficult to do by yourself, but are also the cutest if done right.

Thanks so much for reading and I hope that you can use these during this holiday season!

Ways to Style Straight Hair

Today I thought that I would focus on this type of hair. Straight hair can sometimes be thought of as boring but today I am going to show you how to make it pretty. So, no time to waste!

I like this hair idea and some of you might just think that it is a pony-tail with nothing to it. But, you can also add a fun rubber band or a headband to make it pop. This can look many different ways. It can look sharp and clean if you make sure that there aren't any bumps or a high pony-tail that is loose in some ways or it can just be a normal pony-tail that is simple and delicate.

I like this because it looks very shiny. It is great for this length of hair because somehow it fits her. I think that this could work on many different people. Like brown haired people or balck haired people or red or blonde. This would work on most people with thin straight hair. A good thing that is great of having straight hair is that it is much easier to wash.

Hey everyone!!!

I know that I have not posted anything in a while but I thought that this would be the perfect time to get back at it! So... I have a new challenge for everyone out there! I am going to participate in an "Everyday For A Month Challenge!!" Here's how it works: You post something everyday for a month! Here's the catch though, you cannot post any of the same posts again or even the same type of post! I know it won't be easy, but it sure will be fun! The challenge starts today! Good luck to everyone who is gonna try this!! Be sure to check in and see my daily posts!

Winter Ideas!

Today I thought that I wanted to do a special post just on winter ideas! So lets start the thinking!

Hot chocolate is a great thing for the winter time! It is nice and warm and it has delicious ingredients, like chocolate, cinnamon, and whipped cream! Yum, that sounds tasty. Instead of coffee in the morning try hot chocolate! It tastes better and it doesn't stunt your growth!

Building a snowman is the one thing I have to do when it snows at my house! It is so much fun rolling out three round balls starting from biggest to littlest. I have a set for a snow women kit. It has two button eyes, red plastic lips, a orange beaded necklace, a fake carrot nose and a beautiful tiara to top it off. Me and my sister love putting all the decorations on her!

Gingerbread cookies are yummy during the holiday season! They are gingery and so delicious to have a secret snack once in a while! You can either bake them or eat them! But I would prefer both because you can decorate them to look like different styles and bake them to perfection! I think that these are cute and they probably took a lot of effort to make them so dazzling! :)

Lastly, the thing I love most about the cold winter days is snow. I have been experiencing a lot of snow lately and I feel like it will never end. But, unfortunately all of the snow is supposed to melt in the next couple of days. All of my trees outside look like this: covered with snow. As people sometimes say, it's a White Christmas except that it isn't Christmas time anymore.
Don't forget to look at the small things in life and be thankful for what you have been given. Be aware of your surroundings more often and look around at nature. Don't forget to smile! XO Lilly
